HIST173G Modern European History, 1815 to Present

Post-Napoleonic Europe, the revolutions of 1898, the unifications of Germany and Italy, Imperialism, the causes and results of World War I, the Depression and the ideologies of the 20th century and World War II. The post-war struggle between the super-powers will also be treated. Students who have taken HIST 172 may not take this course.  Course numbers ending with G are Writing Intensive (WI).
